Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using wellthxology.com (the “Site”), reading our publications, or subscribing to any of our services — including The Wellthy Chronicles on Substack — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue your use of the Site and our services immediately.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Wellthxology. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Wellthxology is an independent digital editorial publication based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We publish content on holistic living, self-mastery, and the creative life at wellthxology.com. The Wellthy Chronicles is our companion personal publication available on Substack.

Wellthxology is operated as an independent editorial platform. All views expressed are those of the editorial team unless otherwise attributed.

Intellectual Property

All content published on wellthxology.com — including but not limited to articles, essays, editorials, photography, illustrations, graphics, audio recordings, video content, brand identity, and all other materials — is the exclusive property of Wellthxology or its respective contributors and creators. All such content is protected by Canadian copyright law, international copyright treaties, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not

Permitted Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable local, provincial, national, and international laws and regulations.

Where you are permitted to submit content — such as comments, feedback, or messages — you retain ownership of what you submit. However, by submitting content to us, you grant Wellthxology a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with our services and publications.

By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:

You are the original creator of the content, or have all necessary rights and permissions to submit it
The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
The content does not contain defamatory, harassing, obscene, or unlawful material

We reserve the right to review, moderate, edit, or remove any user-submitted content at our sole discretion, without prior notice and without liability to you.

Affiliate Disclosure and Sponsored Content

Wellthxology participates in affiliate marketing programmes. When you click an affiliate link on our Site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission — at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships never influence our editorial content, assessments, or recommendations.

Where content has been produced in partnership with a sponsor, brand, or commercial partner, this relationship will always be clearly and prominently disclosed within that content. This practice is consistent with the Competition Bureau of Canada’s guidelines on deceptive marketing practices and applicable advertising standards.

We only recommend products and services that we genuinely believe align with the values and interests of our readers. Our editorial integrity is not for sale.

Subscriptions — The Wellthy Chronicles

The Wellthy Chronicles is a personal publication hosted on Substack. Paid subscriptions are subject to both these Terms of Use and Substack’s own Terms of Service, available at substack.com/tos.

Payments

Subscription payments are processed entirely by Substack’s payment infrastructure. We do not collect or store your payment information directly. Pricing is as displayed at the time of subscription and may be subject to change with notice.

Cancellations

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time through your Substack account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid subscriber content until that date.

Refunds

Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, contact us at hello@wellthxology.com within 14 days of your payment. We cannot guarantee refunds but will review each request fairly.

Subscriber content

Paid subscriber content is for your personal use only. You may not share, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise make subscriber content available to non-subscribers. This includes sharing login credentials, screenshots of paid content, or redistributing content through any channel.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) CAD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you in full.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wellthxology and its founders, editors, contributors, partners, and service providers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

Your use of or access to the Site
Your violation of any provision of these Terms
Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party
Any content you submit to the Site

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable within Ontario, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms, the Site, or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada. By using the Site, you irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to the exercise of such jurisdiction.

Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first at hello@wellthxology.com if you have any dispute, concern, or complaint. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and will make a genuine effort to reach informal resolution before any formal legal proceedings are initiated.

If informal resolution is not possible within 30 days of written notice to us, disputes may be resolved through binding arbitration administered in Ontario, Canada, or through the courts of Ontario at our election.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed from these Terms if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wellthxology with respect to your use of the Site and our services. They supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, representations, and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the same subject matter.
